Class of 2010

Meet Nicole, class of 2010, and new WSU Cougar! She is such an upbeat, fun, lovely lovely sweetheart. She really rocked these pictures!

All smiles

Ow! My cheeks hurt from smiling after editing this photo shoot. Taylor was so smiley everytime I picked up the camera, and it was contagious! I got to photograph her as a little baby last year and was honored to come back and capture some toddler pictures!

Adventure Day!

Chase's photo shoot was such a mix of fun adventures! As you can see, we had a little bit of baseball, a little bit of superman, and a little bit of dandelion fun. And to top it all off, the park was being "renovated" by goats that day. It's so fun to incorporate kids' hobbies and interests in photos, and it also really helps bring on the smiles!

Watch AJ grow: month 6

Here we are at AJ's 6 month photo session. This time was back at his house again, so we got to get a little "scenery" from his home in the pictures. His new trick this time was showing me how high he can do push-ups! Doesn't he look proud of himself in that last photo?

Country Bump

I love these people- they are our dear friends. I was so excited to take these bump photos out at their home in the country, and we were determined to get them done, even though it was FREEZING outside. I think we can all agree that this is one beautiful mama. Kyla is a real-life rodeo girl, and I'm so glad we got pictures of her with her other (horse) baby. Josh and Kyla are going to be the best parents, and I just got the news that baby girl was born tonight, so I can't wait to get down and meet her!!!

Family of three

I am so happy to see this couple with their new baby, Kylie. She is such a sweet little thing, and her mama and dada love her so much! We were determined to get some "au natural" shots, which we did despite a little poo incident. Unfortunately, my gag reflex surfaced, but it made for some good laughs! They are kind of family (my sister's husband's sister), so luckily I get to see Kylie lots more!

Don't you just love babies?!

I am pleased to introduce you to baby Colton! I had to include some of the family photos here, because I LOVE them! I know that in the first couple of weeks of having a new baby, being in pictures might be the last thing that new parents are thinking about, but there are always some tender moments that would be a shame not to capture. I just adore the love that is written on Colton's parents' faces. Lucky boy!

Spring fever

Wow- March is the month for babies! Lucky for me, lots of people have been visited by the stork lately, and I get to photograph them! Meet sweet baby Ethan with a sweet little curl right in the middle of his forehead.

Here he is again: AJ making his 5 month appearance! This month he brought along his cute little giraffe friend. Giraffe friend spent a lot of time in his mouth, so I think some teeth are in AJ's near future! I love how he is waving good-bye in the last photo. Until next month...

Little lady

Last time I photographed baby Eva, she was a couple of months old. I can't believe what a sweet little baby lady she is becoming! She loved wearing the pearls and hats and ruffles- to my delight! She is at that super fun age to photograph. She is rolling (but not too mobile), loves to smile at her mommy and daddy, will look at me if I hold the cheerios, and is so dang happy.

A sunny day at the beach...

...in February. Do not let the beautiful family frolicking in the sunshine fool you. It was chilly. But, despite the nip in the air, we had a great time. Baby Jack was so adorable and we just had to wrap him in blankets between outfit changes to warm up a little. Lots of snuggling was called for also. Well, the snuggling probably was gonna happen no matter what. That's just what you do with a cute baby like that. Thanks G family- loved the day!
